1. Getting started

There are 3 things you should set up in order to use Xerus:

An Airtable database

• An Airtable database: this is where all your text will be.
• Xerus: connect the airtable database to Xerus so he knows where to look for your texts.
• Layers name: name in smart way your layers to let Xerus know where to update the texts in your figma.

As example I will show you how to create a standard set up for translations. In Setup Ideas section you can find other useful setups.

If you are not familiar with Airtable I will explain all steps you need to do in order to set it up for Xerus.

Create an account

First, create an account if you don’t have one in order to start using AirTable. With the free version should be enough for projects with less than 1200 texts.

Create a new base

Airtable organise content by base and tables. One base can have multiple tables. Create a new base and set it up to be used by Xerus.
